Johannes Kleis has joined BEUC, the European Consumers' Organisation, as Head of Communications. He had previously worked in corporate communications and public affairs for Ketchum Pleon, where he was responsible for the pan-European communication campaigns of several European Commission Directorate-Generals.

Kleis holds a Master's in Political Science from the Catholic University of Leuven, and a Master's in International Economic Affairs from Andrassy Gyula University in Budapest.
