EUFORES, the European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources, elected a new presidential Board in the European Parliament on 2 February 2010. The two EUFORES Vice Presidents are Fiona Hall (re-elected in the role) and Anni Podimata. Hall was elected to the European Parliament in 2004 and is a Member of the Political Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE). Before entering politics, she was a leading member of the Druridge Bay Campaign which fought for alternatives to nuclear power in North East England.
