BHP Billiton, the global primary resources company, expands its involvement with the EU with the appointment of Julian von Fumetti as EU & Government Affairs Advisor. He will be responsible for the company‘s relations with the EU institutions. He will be based in London, the company’s European headquarter, and report to the President, BHP Billiton Europe. Since June 2005, Von Fumetti has been working for GPlus Europe, a Brussels-based strategic communications and advocacy firm where he advised multinational clients in the extraction, chemicals and automotive sector.
