Edelman Brussels increased its political expertise by adding former Portuguese Foreign

Minister António Martins da Cruz as a senior Strategic Advisor to the global communications

firm’s Public Affairs network. Martins da Cruz will serve as a Senior Counsellor to Edelman’s
multinational clients which include major trade associations, international corporations
and foreign governments. He has a long experienced career working in and around
politics starting in 1971 at the Portuguese Foreign Service. There here he held various diplomatic
postings in places such as Mozambique and Cairo.
