On 26 June 2006 the German political foundations in Brussels, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung, the Hans-Seidel-Stiftung, and the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung were hosting their first joint event in Brussels. Guest speaker was Mr Günter Gloser, German Minister of State for European Affairs, who addressed to a large audience at the "Palais des Colonies" under the title, "What next for Europe ­ Challenges for the European policy".
