This event is a special gathering of nine regions from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Spain and France, with recognised strengths in offshore renewable development.
Regions play a key role in boosting the competitiveness of the offshore renewable sector (offshore wind and marine) and face challenges which are often common across Europe. This workshop will raise the views of the regional experts and aim, through the dialogue with trade associations, industry and the European Investment Bank, to define what regions can further do and how they can better exploit the synergies which exist between the wind and marine sectors in order to generate further economic development in this area within their territories.
