Update on the implementation of the directive.
The workshop is hosted by MEP Alexander ALVARO and supported by PRISM International, ETNO, ECTA, ETIS and Cable Europe.
The Objective of the workshop is to provide, after more than a year from the transposition deadline of the data retention directive, a comprehensive overview on where national governments stand on its implementation. The workshop will offer a unique forum to stakeholders to investigate the challenges and the difficulties the telecommunication industry is experiencing in adapting itself to the new obligations and is open to MEPs, their assistants, EU officials and the industry.
