OSCE training day, Agenda: Introduction to OSCEs; Basic Approach to X-Rays; OSCE circuits 1 (rotating around 7 stations) Urinary Catheterisation and Urinalysis, Cannulation/Venesection, Thyroid and Neck Examinations, Breast Examination, Basic Life Support + Airway adjuncts, Communication Station: Focussed History Taking + Explaining Procedures, Cardiology Examination.; OSCE circuits 2 (rotating round 7 stations not seen in the morning session) Respiratory Examination and Inhaler Technique, Abdominal Examination and DRE, Examination of Cranial Nerves; Examination of Lower and Upper Limb Neurology Examinations, Interpretation of ECGs, Suturing, Management of the Critically Ill Patient.
