Bikes racing around the BMF Show’s main arena track have always been a popular feature, but this year the main arena will be host to a BMF Show first, ‘The BMF Grand Prix’, a specially arranged Short Track UK race series over the two days with the grand final on the Sunday. Now in its third year at the BMF Show, Short Track, a cross between supermoto and speedway racing, proved to be a hit from the start, as has the BMF’s infamous Moped Enduro race with this year’s grid already fully booked! But the BMF Motorcycle Show is more than racing. Well established as Europe’s largest outdoor bike show with over 600 exhibitors and attendances regularly topping 80,000, trade bookings are coming in thick and fast with all of the major manufacturers and suppliers expected to attend. Already confirmed are Triumph, Honda, Yamaha, BMW, Harley Davidson, Suzuki and Kawasaki plus top names from the clothing and accessory markets such Frank Thomas. Back in the arena will be The Royal Artillery Motorcycle Display Team - The Flying Gunners, with their amazing displays of precision riding while elsewhere will be the Wall of Death and, new for this year, ‘Extreme Globeriders’, bike riding inside a wire mesh sphere! Supplemented by sideshows including a Paint Balling gallery and for families, inflatable attractions of all sorts and sizes, this will be literally all the fun of the fair!
